NON TOX Talk: Action Matters – Healthier planning through architectural practice.
Our guest is architect Robert Veselko, founder of RVA Architecture Office and one of Slovenia’s experienced practitioners in building with natural and local materials. His work demonstrates that healthier and more environmentally responsible architecture is not just a concept. It can be built. And it works.
Through an informal conversation, we will explore what changes when we look beyond conventional material choices. What makes a material healthier? What have we learned from buildings that have already been built? What works in practice? And how can architects, clients and communities make better choices today?
Alongside the talk, a NON TOX POP UP – Mobile exhibition of healthier materials will invite visitors to see and touch selected healthier and natural building materials and discover examples of good practice.
The event connects knowledge with experience and conversation with action. Because healthier built environments begin with the decisions we make today.

About Robert Veselko
Robert Veselko is an architect, born in 1973 in Maribor, Slovenia. He studied architecture and graduated from Graz University of Technology. He is the founder of RVA architectural practice, where his work focuses on sustainable architecture, renovation, and the exploration of natural and low-carbon construction methods.
His architectural approach is rooted in the human scale of space, the tactile qualities of materials, and a close relationship between architecture and its natural and cultural context. He places particular emphasis on the use of local and natural materials, as well as on a sensitive approach to place, landscape, and existing architectural heritage.
Through his work, he seeks architectural solutions that connect contemporary ways of living with local identity, healthy living environments, and the sustainable use of resources.
Alongside his architectural practice, he also contributes to professional discussions on natural and sustainable construction. He has received several professional awards for his work in architecture, and his projects have been widely presented and published in architectural and professional publications.
